Is it wrong for me to want to talk to my boyfriend everyday?

My bf and I have been together for about 3 months, in the begining he used to text me everyday, good morning, good night, sweet stuff like that. Lately though it hasnt been like that, I've been texting him first and when I text him he just says "hi" or give me a bland response, so I'm like what's wrong wit u he's like " can I miss u first, there's nothing new for to me to tell u if we talk everyday"..I guess he's right but still is it wrong to want at least a good morning or for him to see how I'm doin? To know I'm on his mind..I don't wanna seem needy but idk
